The ancient Greek tower at beach Lazes was most likely a fortification of one of the harbors of the ancient city of Massetos.
Ancient Greek Tower
The remains of an ancient Greek tower (470 BC) are located in the middle of the beach Lazes.
The tower changed owners several times during history. It was built by the first inhabitants of Ermionida, the Dryopes, later it was used by the Dorians from Argos and other conquerors. It is unknown when and how the tower was destroyed.
